Extended Side Angle/Parsvaokonasana

It’s about just getting there and bringing your dog Whiskey.  In this case, Scott did just that.   He’s rocking Extended Side Angle pose, or Parsvakonasana, streching out his groin, back, spine, waist, ankles, intercostals (expanding those lungs), and shoulders. For an increased stretch to his groin, I had him place his lower arm in front of his bent-knee thigh.  This pose also does a great job massaging the inner organs, both ascending and descending colons pending you do both sides.

Whiskey cheered on Scotty the entire time. What a supporting cast!
